OEF/OIF Women Dxed c Mental Disorders Cause for Frequent Medevacs

Posted by cathy on April 19, 2011 at 8:08 PM

See this report from Armed Forces Health Surveillance Center, pages 2-7 on medevacs – http://www.afhsc.mil/viewMSMR?file=2011/v18_n02.pdf This shows that most frequent cause of medevacs of women from Iraq/Afghanistan is mental disorders, not combat wounds and is 4th most frequent cause for evacuation of male personnel. I would like to call you back in an hour and get your take on this. Please send a link to his paper on women veteran suicides.
